Meet the Team

Team Jacques consists of four aspiring young athletes who are highly motivated, talented, and experienced. As the 75th highest ranked men’s curling team in the world (and 38th in Canada), we are quickly emerging as a formidable force on the men’s scene.

Our team aspires not only for the highest level of performance, but also to be ambassadors of the sport and our corporate partners on and off the ice. We have our sights set on representing Alberta at the 2025 Brier in Kelowna, and we are also striving to break into the top 30 teams in the world this season and become a regular presence on the televised and well-attended Grand Slam of Curling. Our medium-term goal is to qualify for the 2025 Canadian Olympic Curling Trials in Halifax, and our long-term goal is to build towards proudly wearing the maple leaf on our backs and show the world that the future of Canadian curling is still bright.

Team Jacques has a proven record of athletic achievement, as well as a positive influence on the community, and we seek to align ourselves with corporate partners who share the same values and principles. Given the significant costs of competing at the highest level, we rely on the support of sponsors in our community to help us reach our athletic goals. We want to partner with companies that are looking to make a positive impact in their community and companies that desire marketing exposure through the thousands of eyes on us throughout the season; in curling clubs, on social media and via live broadcasts streamed across Canada. We approach the marketing side of our curling team like a business so that your business can obtain worthwhile and cost-effective advertising while making a positive difference in your community.
